WebEx
Posters, trade show booth graphics, collateral, style guidelines, billboards – the work was diverse. To support a global sales team and channel partners, I was responsible for design, branding, and translations across multiple geographies for nine languages.

How the World Meets Campaign
Featured in several US cities, this out-of-home campaign with video wall for SFO was an extension of the broader Cisco "Tomorrow Starts Here" campaign.
ROLE Design, art direction, agency creative direction.
UX/DESIGN CHALLENGES We needed to tie in to an existing Cisco campaign but still reflect the WebEx brand attributes. I used original and stock photography and echoed the typographic treatment established by the Cisco campaign. The all caps and italicized Cisco Sans font convey a sense of forward movement and the imagery is modern and reflects the diversity of our b2b customers.
SOLUTION Our concept highlighted leadership and inclusion. This increased awareness of a new video integration feature.

Promotional Calendar
To shine a spotlight on teamwork, I designed a calendar calling out the dates large teams had performed record-breaking activities.
ROLE Design and illustration.
UX/DESIGN CHALLENGES Finding large team activities that were interesting enough to include as calendar factoids. Who knew?
SOLUTION A three-column grid and simple clean type form the basis of the calendar. A combination of illustrations and collaged photography enhanced the playfulness.
RESULTS Broad distribution to internal employees and partners.

Infographic
Available in print and pdf, the online version launched a video highlighting the benefits of WebEx video conferencing.
ROLE Designer.
UX/DESIGN CHALLENGES I was working with an agency that didn’t understand what an infographic was. To meet our deadline and quality standards, I pulled it in-house.
SOLUTION Using a six-column grid and Cisco Sans font, I led out with a tag cloud of relevant terms, then parsed individual facts into chunks. Typography was laid out to guide the user through the information and benefits of video meetings.
RESULTS This piece became part of a highly successful content syndication effort that improved net new and retention campaigns by a whopping 83%.

Booth Graphics
I created trade show graphics using original photography and streaks in WebEx blue and green.
ROLE Designer.
UX/DESIGN CHALLENGES Working swiftly to ensure the graphics would deliver and be assembled by the events team.
SOLUTION A metaphor for the always on and available nature of WebEx, the warm neutral palette allowed the streaks to pop.
RESULTS An effective communications tool for booth demos and sign ups.

Collateral Management
Created for Cisco sales, partners, and vendors the collateral and guidelines were available on several portals. They featured original photography I had art directed.
